Our Commitment to You and Our Puppies

At Happy Yorkie Pups, we prioritize the health, happiness, and lifelong well-being of every puppy we breed. Because our puppies are living beings, our policies reflect our ethical responsibility to them and our commitment to supporting you as their new family.


Health Guarantee & Puppy Returns

1. Health Guarantee

Every Happy Yorkie Pups puppy comes with a 2-Year Genetic Health Guarantee.

  • Coverage: If your puppy is diagnosed with a hereditary or congenital condition within 2 years of adoption, we will:

    • Reimburse veterinary costs up to the puppy’s original purchase price.

    • Offer a replacement puppy from a future litter (if requested).

  • Requirements:

    • Annual veterinary exams must be documented.

    • Conditions caused by neglect, accidents, or unauthorized breeding are not covered.


2. Puppy Returns

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for “change of mind.” However, if you can no longer care for your puppy, we will:

  • Rehoming Assistance: Help you find a loving, pre-screened home for your puppy at no cost.

  • Return to Us: If we have space, we will take the puppy back into our care. A $500 rehoming fee applies to cover transitional care.

Note: Proof of ownership and veterinary records are required for all returns.


Refund Policy

  • Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable unless the puppy becomes medically unavailable (e.g., fails a final health check).

  • Final Payments: Refunds are only issued if we cannot fulfill your adoption due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disaster).


Rehoming Assistance Promise

If life circumstances prevent you from keeping your Happy Yorkie Pups puppy, we pledge to:

  1. Provide guidance on transitioning your puppy to a new home.

  2. Share your puppy’s profile on our private rehoming network.

  3. Offer lifetime support to ensure your puppy’s well-being.


What We Do Not Cover

  • Behavioral issues arising from lack of training or socialization.

  • Allergies or lifestyle changes.

  • Costs associated with non-genetic conditions (e.g., infections, injuries).


How to Initiate a Claim

  1. Contact Us: Email support@happyyorkiepups.com with your puppy’s name, adoption date, and vet records.

  2. Review: We’ll verify eligibility under our health guarantee within 7 business days.

  3. Resolution: Options include reimbursement, replacement, or rehoming support.
